great food but service needs improvement
The Ribeye Steak main meal was cooked to perfection, paired excellently with a robust Malbec. The Full English breakfast in the morning was a delightful start to the day.

Staying in the Deluxe King Room was great! The shower had consistent hot water, and I enjoyed the room's comfort and modern decor. Plus, the location is a real win—close to the main attractions! My favorite part was the complimentary cake waiting for us upon arrival.

missingWrote a review on Jun 23excellent breakfastideal locationwelcoming gesturestained duvetmaintenance issueslimited toiletries
The location fits perfectly for exploring Lincoln. Close to the castle and cathedral. The welcoming gesture with complimentary cakes upon arrival made me smile. The room felt modern, clean, and comfortable overall. Bedding crisp, towels fresh, and the shower worked flawlessly. the heating did not seem consistent, leaving the room a bit warmer than preferred. The fridge was empty and not plugged in, which gave off a bizarre odor. The breakfast experience could improve. while it was decent, variety seemed limited. some small maintenance issues popped up, like a stained duvet and a broken light bulb. Still, the owner’s friendliness stood out, and he quickly addressed the problems we raised. Parking nearby was convenient too, though it had a fee. The lack of basics like toiletries in the bathroom was a miss.

Charming stay with great dining options
The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the stunning Lincoln Castle and Cathedral. I loved the modern bathroom, especially the walk-in shower and the complimentary cakes on arrival were a delightful touch. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with beautifully prepared dishes that really added to my experience. the stairway to the rooms could be challenging with mobility issues.

missingWrote a review on Feb 18musty smell
Had to deal with a musty smell lurking in the bathroom, indicating a potential drainage issue that needs urgent attention. The fridge, for some reason, decided to stay unplugged and came with sour milk, which was a surprise, especially at the price paid. Lighting in the room was a bit dim, and the mismatched pillowcases gave the overall arrangement a slightly disheveled look. Didn’t find any slippers or proper toiletries just basic hand wash where a nice touch could have elevated the experience. Breakfast routine was a bit rushed with no options for fresh juice or lighter fare, which felt limiting. The street parking was a hassle, with only limited two-hour slots, not really ideal with larger vehicles or those wanting to stay longer without fuss.
